For our winner and their guest, this trip made a true football dream come true: experiencing the biggest football event of 2026 live in New York.

Even before matchday, the Big Apple showed its best side. Whether cycling through Central Park, strolling beneath the bright lights of Times Square, or taking in Manhattan's sparkling skyline at night, our winners made the most of every moment and experienced the city's unique energy.

The excitement surrounding the tournament was especially noticeable in Times Square. Everywhere you looked, there were World Cup-themed displays, and among the giant billboards, one message even wished both teams well: "We just hope both teams have fun." During those days, it felt as though all of New York was living and breathing football.

As matchday approached, the anticipation grew by the hour. Together with fans from all over the world, our winners made their way to the stadium, which quickly filled with excitement. By the time the teams walked onto the pitch for the opening ceremony, the atmosphere was filled with goosebumps – football on the biggest stage imaginable.

In the group stage match, Germany faced Ecuador. Although the evening ended with a narrow defeat for the German team, the atmosphere inside the stadium remained incredible.

The unique setting, the closeness to the action, and the shared emotions made it an experience that went far beyond the final score.
