NFL FAN MARVIN EXPERIENCES THE SUPER BOWL LIX UP CLOSE IN THE USA

Our winner Marvin, a huge NFL fan from Munich, could hardly believe it when he found out he had won the grand prize: a trip to Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans! Filled with excitement, he set off on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the USA that he would never forget.

Even the flight to New Orleans felt like an adventure. Once there, everything went smoothly. He picked up his rental car, checked into his hotel, and was immediately impressed by the friendly and open nature of the Americans. Since this was his first visit to the USA, he was fascinated by all the new experiences. The weather was perfect, with bright sunshine and pleasant temperatures between 68 and 77°F (20-25°C). There was just one thing he hadn’t planned for: his shorts were still back in cold Germany.

The city was in full football frenzy. Everywhere, enthusiastic fans were walking around, and the excitement for the big game was in the air. On Saturday, Marvin took the opportunity to stroll through the streets of New Orleans and visit the official Super Bowl exhibition, where he could dive into the history of this mega event.

A special highlight on Sunday was meeting the Footballerei crew, who handed him a signed biography of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Additionally, he had the chance to be interviewed for DAZN by NFL pro Jakob Johnson from Football Bromance. For a football fan, it was certainly an exciting moment.

Then it was finally time! Even before reaching the stadium, the atmosphere was electric, with fans celebrating and enjoying the massive event. Inside the stadium, Marvin had a great seat, and then came the huge surprise: right below him sat Donald Trump! The security measures were massive, with police and military everywhere. The halftime show by Kendrick Lamar was absolutely spectacular and perfectly matched the immense atmosphere of the game. The Super Bowl itself was, according to Marvin, "simply amazing" – a true spectacle with incredible energy both on and off the field.

Marvin could hardly believe he was actually there, live. Between all the football highlights, he also visited the fan shops. He picked up plenty of merch for himself and his friends before making his way back home.

All in all, the trip was an absolute dream. From the perfect organization to the unforgettable atmosphere, Marvin was thoroughly impressed. "The hype around the Super Bowl is absolutely worth it!" he says. It’s a trip he will always remember!

This unforgettable experience was made possible for Marvin thanks to his contribution to Right To Play. Right To Play is an international children's charity that uses play and sport to improve the opportunities of children and young people in 14 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

We thank you, Marvin, for your generous contribution and for giving us this wonderful insight into your unforgettable experience in New Orleans!
