Dream trip to the mountain bike highlight 2026 in Lenzerheide

For our winner Andrea from Italy, this trip made a true bike dream come true: Nino Schurter's original mountain bike, handed over by the Swiss rider himself, right in the middle of the UCI MTB World Cup in Lenzerheide.

From 19 to 21 June 2026, Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden hosted the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series. Three disciplines were on the programme: Short Track, Cross-country Olympic and Downhill. The event ran under the name Anniversary Edition X, marking the tenth World Cup at the venue.

Andrea was there for both race days. Saturday belonged to the downhill, on one of the shortest but most spectacular courses on the calendar, complete with the big jump into the finish arena. On Sunday, in heat and dust, the elite cross-country race closed out the World Cup. In the men's race Luca Martin came out on top after his compatriot Adrien Boichis crashed on the final lap. Third place went to Bjorn Riley, a rider from Nino Schurter's own SCOTT-SRAM team.

The highlight of the weekend was the personal handover. Nino handed Andrea his SCOTT Spark RC in person. The bike is genuinely one of a kind: the artist Lionel Smit, a friend of Nino's, hand-painted the raw carbon frame. There is no second SCOTT Spark RC anywhere in the world with this design. Underneath sits Nino's race setup, from the SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission to the Syncros Silverton SL wheels.

All proceeds from the campaign go to World Bicycle Relief, which Nino Schurter calls his absolute passion project. The organisation provides rugged Buffalo Bicycles in rural regions, giving people access to education, healthcare and work.
