WINNER CAREN AND HUSBAND STEFAN MEET JAMES ARTHUR BACKSTAGE IN HAMBURG

Impossible, Say You Won't let go, Cars Outside - since his X-Factor win in 2012 at the latest, the name James Arthur is no longer unknown to many.

With numerous top ten songs, he has been singing his way into the hearts of his fans for years with touching lyrics and his strong voice. Among them was winner Caren. Thanks to her donation in favour of Channel Aid, she was given the opportunity to meet James Arthur backstage at his concert in the Elbphilharmonie and enjoy his powerful voice live in concert.

On 12 January 2024, Caren and her husband Stefan were already on their way to the beautiful port city of Hamburg. Included in the price: a night in the exclusive luxury 5-star hotel "The Westin" in the centre of the Elbphilharmonie. In addition to fantastic views over Hamburg's harbour, a small welcome gift awaited them.

After a short breather, it was time to get ready for the Channel Aid live in concert with superstar James Arthur. At around 6 p.m., we headed towards level 5 of the Elbphilharmonie. Here we fortified ourselves with snacks and drinks and enjoyed the great atmosphere.

Around 7 pm it was time for the Meet & Greet. Together with other winners from other events, we went into a separate room where James Arthur was available for photos and brief conversations. It was a really special moment to meet such a superstar, who you usually only know from the radio or television. James was in a really good mood, took a great photo with Stefan and Caren, who then wished him every success for the upcoming show - unforgettable moments.

After all the photos had been taken, the two of them headed towards the "orange" carpet where professional photos and great GIFS of the two of them were also taken - wonderful memories that Caren and Stefan will probably never forget.

And then it was finally time for the live concert with James Arthur. Caren and Stefan were able to watch the concert up close from the front row of the Elbphilharmonie and were right up close when Leroy Sanchez and Davina Michelle opened the show.

After a short break, it was then time for James Arthur. With songs such as Rewrite the Stars, Impossible and Empty Space, previously unreleased songs from his new album "Bitter Sweet Love" were also performed together with the Lufthansa Orchestra. His expressive voice in combination with the musical accompaniment of an orchestra and the special sound of the Elbphilharmonie really inspired every visitor.

After a great concert, we headed towards the Elbphilharmonie car park. This is where the after-show party took place with great snacks, drinks and music.

Thanks to Caren's fantastic donation to Channel Aid, she was not only able to experience an unforgettable evening at the Elbphilharmonie, but also support an aid organisation that aims to give people living with disabilities access to sport and make it easier for them to participate in social life.
